The Force Unleashed - video update
Posted on Friday, May 25 2007 @ 23:36:23 EST by Evaders99

News from Evaders99 More from the next generation Star Wars game: The Force Unleashed
Part 1 of a video series (which ironically I cannot find on the LucasArts game page) where the developers talk of the ideas and pitching it to George. Gametrailers has it here: Unleashing the Force Part 1: The New Beginning

I'm kinda looking forward to it. It will deal more with the post-Revenge, pre-ANH timeline and may have some real canon status as George Lucas gave ideas to development team. Not to say other games don't have canon status, but it has Lucas's direct input rather than just filtered to an editorial board. (Not to praise Lucas's story ideas given the prequel movies he made, but I expect if this team has some good writers, they could turn this into a really great game)

Yeah it looks good.
I wish people would stop so fanatically bashing the prequels though, i found them excellent.
