Well, besides having caught a cold from our lovely head secretary and therefore having had a pretty uneventful weekend, I looked up Vader's hunt and found it pretty balanced.
The Alliance is quite cocky in their early attempts to take Coruscant and I could finally build more than one sort of ship at the start.
Vader's ship popped out of hyperspace early in the game above Yavin and this way I caught Luke at day 50. I wonder how he will wiggle his way out of this, being an injured trainee and captured on Coruscant with the Emperor, enough troops and ships in orbit to flaw any escape attempt. 8)

I wonder though Cain, what you did to make Vader's Dreadnaught have no hyperdrive at the start of this savegame. Did you use the battlestations patch on it after you sent the ship into hyperspace ?

Btw, if you're looking for something that gives you a run for your money, check out some from the second level. I can't remember which, but I think I started only with Coruscant and a pretty strong Alliance. (I didn't have time so far to check out the third level, or that Katana virus setting)

Haaaatshoooo ... :? ... ooops, back to my runny nose

Well....in the Clone Strike and the Exile scenarios you will have only the Emperor to Start with and the New Republic will control the core systems day 005....anyway....I will mail you the answers regarding the changes that can do so much for scenarios..... try the Katana and you will see more ....but the virus is not so strong ...sorry....maybe next time :(

So try the last two ...I was defeated by AI ...btw. It is the most hardcore ever imaginable game to start only with one character, the rest will be arrested fast (go diplomacy first and fast) and conquer the galaxy if you can to do that with one character ! :)

Btw how is my new Vong avatar ?!

PS. Did you like them ? and should I do more and what type ? ...You can see the Rebel new scenarios up also :) and also stop kissing the hot secretary ! You will not get sik anymore :)...take care ! Try some panadol :)

Figure this out :!: :?: how you can build ships at the start if the TC does not allow this ? ...hmmmm...give me an answer  ....or should I tell you the correct one :?: :)

Anyway the idea behind the fact that you have to wait for the capacity to build ships (do some research and they come fast) is that to appreciate your first ships much more! :)...also the other side has the same restrictions :)

Well, at first you should stop spreading stories about me and our married head secretary, before I have to ask someone with moderation powers to make you do this. :P
Almost everybody passes through her office at least once a day, so you can imagine, that almost the whole company is coughing and sneezing today, apart from the 1/3, that didn't show up this morning at all.

I'll try the other scenarios, when I got the time (and empty hands) for them.

Too big for my 2k connection at home. Try downsizing it to 75% or 50% in both directions, then it should load faster.

Panadol ? Never heard of that. At the moment it's just my nose, so my Wick Sinex spray should do. Thanks anyway. :D

Well a research setting of 1 would of course explain it, since a research order of 0 wouldn't affect (at least) the ships you get at the start.
The other side had the same restrictions ? So in those, where I could only build a Tie, they could build ... an Y-Wing ?

But keep it up with the scenarios, although I might not have time to test them all, I'm sure others will try them out as well.

Hmmmm...it must be an error with Vaders ship , at home I have Hyperspace on that scenario ...

...Well Yes the Rebels could build only Y and X-wings at the start...!....it is standard for the Protectorate .....anyway I was joking about the secretary :D  :D

  I HAVE a new scenario that I dream about for a long time :) ..... it is a beta but never the less cool enough :) This you must try ! :) :!:

http://www.swrebellion.com/hosted/cain/ ... Return.zip

I tryed also to see the info about planets like Hast1ngs in that .dat file ...but I only get code.... no nambers ?!...so what program I use for that file Res.Hack won't work ? 8O :?:

I will resize the avatar today :)......and I'm stoping the scenario makeing since nobody is tryng them besides you ...anyway they work well on standard Rebellion also :)

Pretty useless stuff, no matter how many of them you'll take it doesn't help... Nothing beat a tylenol, a good hot meal and good sleep.

:D 8) :D Depends how sick Mask is :)....anyway Mask did you know this ?.....(the power of a save game) :)

http://www.swrebellion.com/hosted/cain/ ... .Gamer.zip

This staf incorporates the very latest tehnology in scenario makeing and also work on standard Rebellion.

The avatar has been reduced in size :) now is 9k the best that I can do for now....but look at Trej's avatar 8O 8) big and wide ...hey Trej can you reshape it a little.....Mask is right ....at home with 2k connection the big avatars can be a problem. :(

Get better man ! Btw how are you today ?

Most of the times, when I really got a flue I have to go straight for antibiotics, nothing else helps (I've gotten restiant against penicilin at the age of 12).

Well, as a certain black-hooded Sithlord would say: I have healed myself, through the power of the force... (well, mostly).

Err... about a year ago I outlined the unbelievable tale of Luke winning the final battle on Coruscant and escaping with Vader and Palpy as captives, despite the presance of a fully maned 48/36 Death Star, force-sensitive General on Imperial Centre, and truly massive amounts of fighters, troops, and additional capital ship support... twas a Skywalker wiggle of epic proportions that seriously freaked me out...

But I guess the entire Star Wars franchise is a galactic wiggle of sorts... ummm... err... I think i'll 'retire' now having laughed all night at a bar watching Manchester Uniter loose against Porto... Ha Ha

What were you guys muttering about in any case, I cguess I got it completely wrong....

Ok now guys just download the staff ,copy and paste in your save file Rebellion...load and see load and see  you don't need to play....Mask you could try Coldrex :) ...also about the last two downloads ....hmmmm...I think that we can make a TC just with scenarios 1,2,3,4,5,6 etc like Homeworld.....anyway if you see them you will understand....anyway :) I will release soon the Protectorate II witch I keep as a surprise for all....it will be a Rebellion II and incorporate all that I know now about the game .....it will be the best soft TC ever created and I mean this !

Seeya.
